Adjustable regulator replaces the relief-valve nut and spring so Buick V8 oil pressure can be tuned.
TA Performance adjustable oil-pressure regulator for 1961-76 Buick V8 applications replaces the relief-valve nut and spring next to the oil filter. Turning the adjuster inward raises oil pressure; backing it out lowers pressure. TA recommends maintaining roughly 10-15 psi per 1,000 rpm and considers the regulator useful during oil-pump rebuilds.
