1964-72 Oldsmobile V8 Crankshaft Oil Slinger

Stamped-steel slinger mounts behind the timing cover and distributes oil to front-engine components.

This stamped-steel oil slinger mounts on the crankshaft behind the timing cover. During rotation it picks up oil and distributes it around the front timing housing to lubricate the timing chain, gears and fuel-pump eccentric. The slinger has a zinc coating.
