Heavy-wall pickup uses a precision-formed tube and positive support at the pump/sump inlet.
This Milodon® Pontiac oil-pump pickup uses a 3/4-inch inlet and is intended for compatible Pontiac performance oil-pump/pan combinations. The pickup positions the inlet in the sump for consistent oil supply. Verify the pump inlet diameter and pickup-to-pan clearance before final assembly.
