Year-correct timing-mark position distinguishes the 1963-64 and 1965-67 Cadillac 429 balancers.
Replacement harmonic balancer for 1963-67 Cadillac 429ci engines. Two year-correct versions are used: the 1963-64 balancer positions the timing mark near 12:30-1:00 from the keyway, while the 1965-67 version places the timing reference near 3:00. Match the balancer to engine year and original timing-mark location before installation.
