BluePrint Engines®' 427ci Small Block-Compatible Pro Series Long Block is rated at 540 hp and 535 lb-ft with 10.0:1 compression. It combines forged 4.00-inch-stroke crankshaft, forged pistons, 64cc/220cc-runner aluminum heads and hydraulic-roller camshaft (.577/.577 lift; 240/248° @ .050, 112° LSA). Long-block configuration leaves induction/accessories separate while retaining the forged 4.00-inch stroker assembly and 540-hp naturally aspirated core.
