511-hp / 480 lb-ft core uses forged 3.75-inch crank and forged pistons by BluePrint Engines®.

BluePrint Engines®' 400ci Small Block Power-Adder Long Block is rated at 511 hp and 480 lb-ft with 9.5:1 compression. It combines forged 3.75-inch-stroke crankshaft, forged pistons, aluminum cylinder heads and hydraulic-roller camshaft (.555/.577 lift; 236/248° @ .050, 113° LSA). 9.5:1 compression with forged crank, 6.0-inch rods and forged pistons provides the power-adder-oriented foundation; induction is selected separately.
