Assembled cast-iron Vortec head uses 64cc chambers and high-velocity ports for improved airflow.

This Chevrolet Performance Vortec cylinder head is a Genuine GM® assembled cast-iron head for Gen I Chevrolet Small Block engines. Its 64cc chamber, 1.94/1.50-inch valves and high-velocity Vortec ports improve airflow over earlier production heads. It requires a Vortec-pattern intake manifold; camshafts above approximately .475-inch lift may require additional machining.
