XE284H CL-Kit pairs the hydraulic flat-tappet camshaft with matched lifters

Designed for 1965-96 Chevrolet Big Block 396-454 V8, this COMP Cams® Xtreme Energy XE284H hydraulic flat-tappet CL-Kit uses .574/.578-inch valve lift, 284/296° advertised duration, 240/246° duration at .050 inch and a 110° lobe-separation angle. Its 2300-6500 RPM range is suited to street/strip use with a rough idle; 9.5:1+ compression and converter support are recommended. The CL-Kit includes the camshaft and matched lifters.
