Designed for 1965-96 Chevrolet Big Block 396-454 V8, this COMP Cams® Magnum 290HR retrofit hydraulic roller camshaft uses .578/.578-inch valve lift, 290/290° advertised duration, 232/232° duration at .050 inch and a 110° lobe-separation angle. Its 2500-6200 RPM range is suited to hot street-machine use with 9.5:1+ compression, 2500+ stall, headers and aluminum intake.
