UMI Performance, Inc. introduces an engine mount set for 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V applications. Addressing the OEM Cadillac engine mount's tendency to fail and result in leaking damping fluid and increased engine movement, UMI's solution features fabricated steel and polyurethane bushing construction. This design resists engine rotation while providing moderate damping (with potential vibration increase compared to the factory hydraulic mount). The robust 1/4" steel double shear bracket and Energy Suspension polyurethane loaded sleeve are built to withstand the punishment delivered by the big Caddy. On-car testing reports minimal cabin noise (in most cases) and a sporty feel. Available in powder-coated red or black finish, this engine mount utilizes Grade 10.9 hardware and is a direct bolt-in replacement suitable for street or track use.
