The RESTOPARTS® cowl induction hood door is an exact reproduction of the original GM factory component. The door is manufactured as a multi-piece stamped-steel assembly, reproducing the shape and operation of the original GM cowl induction door. This expanded kit adds the vacuum actuator and actuator mounting bracket, providing the components that physically operate the cowl induction door. When vacuum is applied through the functional cowl induction system, the actuator operates the door to open and close as intended. The correct pivot brackets, mounting hardware and bushings are also included, providing a complete door and actuator assembly ready to integrate with the remaining cowl induction system components.
