Proper throttle valve cable positioning is essential for correct automatic transmission operation, particularly when installing an overdrive transmission with an aftermarket carburetor. This TV cable bracket provides a mounting point for connecting the transmission's throttle valve cable to the carburetor linkage. Manufactured from rigid steel with a gold-iridite finish, the bracket features pre-drilled mounting holes for installation.
Designed for applications using compatible Holley 4150 & 4160 carburetors, this bracket helps establish a secure TV cable mounting arrangement during transmission conversions or linkage modifications. Proper TV cable geometry and adjustment are critical for maintaining correct transmission line pressure, shift timing and part-throttle downshift operation. Cable attachment studs are available separately.
