1969-72 Chevelle & El Camino, 1970-72 Monte Carlo Muncie "Competition/Plus" Shifter Kit by Hurst®
Short, positive shifts pair with adjustable stops and the later bolt-attached Muncie linkage.
This Hurst® "Competition/Plus" kit is for 1969-72 Chevrolet Chevelle, including Malibu, and El Camino, plus 1970-72 Monte Carlo with a Muncie four-speed. The high-ratio pivot shortens gear-to-gear lever travel, and adjustable stops limit overtravel. A chrome-plated stick and white four-speed knob provide the traditional Hurst® appearance; factory consoles can be retained.
The included linkage is for the 1969-74 Muncie design with bolt-attached shift arms. The package supplies the shifter, hardened rods, mounting plate, nylon bushings, clips and installation hardware.
