1968 Chevelle & El Camino Muncie 4-Speed "Competition/Plus" Shifter Kit by Hurst®
A high-ratio pivot and adjustable stops provide short, controlled shifts with matched Muncie linkage.
This Hurst® "Competition/Plus" kit combines a short-travel, high-ratio shifter with the installation linkage for a 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle, including Malibu, or El Camino with a Muncie M20, M21 or M22 four-speed. Adjustable stops limit lever overtravel; a chrome-plated stick and white four-speed knob retain the familiar Hurst® appearance. The shifter works with or without the factory console.
The included early-style linkage attaches to Muncie shift arms retained by studs and nuts. The package includes the shifter, hardened shift rods, mounting plate, nylon bushings, clips and installation hardware.
