1966-67 Chevrolet Chevelle/El Camino 4L80E Shifter Conversion by Shiftworks®
Converts the original Powerglide console shifter with a matched detent, linkage and adjustable cable.
This Shiftworks® set converts the original Powerglide console shifter in a 1966-67 Chevrolet Chevelle or El Camino for a 4L80E transmission. It includes the shifter-base cable bracket, transmission cable bracket, selector lever, detent, hardware and an adjustable 32-inch cable. A transmission-matched console indicator is included. The cable replaces the original rod connection while the factory console shifter is retained. Verify the neutral-safety/back-up switch arrangement when changing the transmission.
