1964-65 Chevrolet Chevelle/El Camino 6L80E/6L90E Shifter Conversion by Shiftworks®
Converts the original Powerglide console shifter with a matched detent, linkage and adjustable cable.
This Shiftworks® set converts the original Powerglide console shifter in a 1964-65 Chevrolet Chevelle or El Camino for a 6L80E/6L90E transmission. It includes the shifter-base cable bracket, transmission cable bracket, selector lever, detent, hardware and an adjustable 30-inch cable. No console indicator lens is supplied for the six-speed application. The selector operates P-R-N-D-M; manual up/down shifts in M require compatible electronic controls rather than six separate lever positions. Verify the neutral-safety/back-up switch arrangement for the conversion.
