1964-72 Powerglide Cable-Shift Linkage by Shiftworks®
Transmission-end linkage connects a floor-shifter cable while retaining the kickdown arrangement.
This Shiftworks® cable-linkage set connects a floor-shifter cable to a compatible aluminum Powerglide. It provides the transmission selector lever and cable-support arrangement for 1964-72 Chevrolet Chevelle/El Camino and 1970-72 Monte Carlo conversions. A removable selector lever is required. A transmission with a welded-on lever needs the replacement range-selector shaft before the cable linkage can be installed; SKU # CH30189 supplies the shaft and kickdown hardware.
