1968-72 Chevrolet Console-Shifter 3-Speed Reverse-Manual Detent
A 3/16-inch steel plate changes the selector stops for a reverse-manual valve-body transmission.
This 3/16-inch steel detent plate configures the original console shifter for a 3-speed automatic transmission with a reverse-manual valve body. Applications are 1968-72 Chevrolet Chevelle and El Camino and 1970-72 Monte Carlo. The plate has 1/4-20 tapped mounting holes and replaces the existing detent; it does not change the transmission valve body or supply a complete shifter.
