Complete Powerglide conversion kit

Use your factory-installed 2-speed shifter to retain the original appearance when replacing the Powerglide transmission with a newer 4-speed overdrive (TH700-R4, TH200-4R, 4L60E, 4L70E or 4L80E) transmission. This kit eliminates the rod linkage and replaces it with a cable. Kit requires the use of a new cable. The conversion includes a new laser-cut and hardened detent, the necessary cable installation hardware and instructions.

Notes

  • Part# CH24950 (cable) is necessary for floor shift cars.
  • The 1964-65 kits include the cables, while the 1966-67 cables need to be purchased separately.
  • This item is not eligible for any further discounts or promotional pricing.
