1968-70 Chevrolet Chevelle/El Camino 6L80E Shifter Conversion by Shiftworks®
Transmission-matched detent, indicator and linkage retain the original horseshoe console shifter.
This Shiftworks® set converts the original horseshoe console shifter in a 1968-70 Chevrolet Chevelle or El Camino for a 6L80E transmission. It includes the transmission cable bracket, selector lever, replacement detent, console indicator and mounting hardware. The factory shifter is retained; a new shifter cable and neutral-safety switch are not included in this base set. The selector operates P-R-N-D-M. Manual up/down shifts require compatible electronic input, not six separate mechanical lever positions.
