1968-70 Chevrolet Chevelle/El Camino 4L80E Shifter Conversion by Shiftworks®
Transmission-matched detent, indicator and linkage retain the original horseshoe console shifter.
This Shiftworks® set converts the original horseshoe console shifter in a 1968-70 Chevrolet Chevelle or El Camino for a 4L80E transmission. It includes the transmission cable bracket, selector lever, replacement detent, console indicator and mounting hardware. The factory shifter is retained; a new shifter cable and neutral-safety switch are not included in this base set. A 32-inch cable is recommended for 4L80E installations; order the cable to suit the routing.
