1968-70 Chevrolet Chevelle/El Camino 700R4/200-4R/4L60E/4L70E Shifter Conversion by Shiftworks®
Transmission-matched detent, indicator and linkage retain the original horseshoe console shifter.
This Shiftworks® set converts the original horseshoe console shifter in a 1968-70 Chevrolet Chevelle or El Camino, or 1970 Monte Carlo, for a 700R4/200-4R/4L60E/4L70E transmission. It includes the transmission cable bracket, selector lever, replacement detent, console indicator and mounting hardware. The factory shifter is retained; a new shifter cable and neutral-safety switch are not included in this base set. The linkage is designed to work with the original cable when it is in serviceable condition.
