1965-66 Oldsmobile Cutlass Overdrive Shifter Conversion by Shiftworks®
An adjustable cable and transmission-matched detent retain the original console shifter.
This Shiftworks® kit adapts the 1965-66 Oldsmobile Cutlass factory console shifter to a four-speed overdrive automatic. Choose the 700R4/200-4R/4L60E version or the 4L80E version to match the transmission. The detent establishes the correct selector positions, and the adjustable cable permits final alignment. Includes the transmission pan bracket, shift lever, detent, console gear indicator, hardware and a 30-inch cable; the 4L80E version uses a 32-inch cable instead. The original narrow shifter gate requires modification to the gear-actuator tab during installation.
