This one-piece NHRA legal drive shaft safety loop is a bolt-in or weld-in applications. These UMI Drive shaft loops are contoured for the A-Body floor pan and bolts or welds into the reinforcement rib located behind the transmission. This is a must for tracks that require a safety loop for cars running faster than 13.99 in the quarter mile. The entire loop is constructed of 0.250″ thick mild steel, CNC machined mounting points for a superb fit and fully MIG welded for outstanding strength.
