3.90:1 replacement gears for the Buick/Oldsmobile/Pontiac 8.2-inch rear end
This Yukon Gear & Axle® ring and pinion set provides a 3.90:1 axle ratio for the Buick, Oldsmobile and Pontiac 8.2-inch 10-bolt rear end. The matching ring gear and pinion are supplied together for a complete gear change.
This set is for the Buick, Oldsmobile and Pontiac rear-end design; Chevrolet 8.2-inch gears are different. Match the differential carrier to the selected ratio and set bearing preload, backlash and tooth contact during installation.
