Aluminum cover uses load bolts to help support the bearing caps
This TA Performance® differential girdle cover fits the matching Buick, Oldsmobile and Pontiac 8.2/8.5-inch 10-Bolt rear end. Its reinforced center section and adjustable load bolts help support the carrier bearing caps and limit cap movement under load.
The original-profile cover is cast from 356-T6 aluminum and includes mounting bolts, washers, a cover gasket and instructions. Drain and fill plugs allow service with the cover installed.
