Rebuildable clutch-type limited-slip differential with carbon friction discs
This Eaton® Posi limited-slip differential fits the corresponding Buick/Oldsmobile/Pontiac 8.2" rear axle with 28-spline shafts and 3.36:1 and higher gear ratios. Carbon friction discs and a preloaded clutch assembly help send drive to the wheel with traction while permitting differential action in turns.
The unit is rebuildable. Use petroleum-based 80W-90 GL-5 gear oil with the required limited-slip friction modifier.
