GM 7.5-Inch 10-Bolt 26-Spline "Posi" Differential, 3.23-Up by Eaton®
Carbon clutch packs improve traction, with tunable preload and a rebuildable limited-slip design.
The Eaton® "Posi" is a clutch-type limited-slip differential for a GM 7.5-inch 10-bolt rear axle with 26-spline shafts and 3.23:1 or numerically higher gearing. Pyrolytic carbon clutch packs provide progressive torque transfer when traction differs between the rear tires, while allowing the wheel-speed difference needed in a turn.
Net-forged gears and adjustable clutch-spring preload support a serviceable assembly: the clutch packs can be replaced during rebuilding. This is a 3-Series carrier. Carrier bearings are not included.
