1968–72 GM A-Body 9" Housing & 31-Spline Axle Package by Currie®
Centurion housing with DOM axle tubes, billet Torino ends and 31-spline alloy axles
This Currie® 9-inch housing and axle package is specified for compatible 1968–72 GM A-body installations. The Centurion housing uses 3-inch-diameter, .188-inch-wall DOM axle tubes and billet Torino-style large-bearing housing ends. The 31-spline 1541 alloy axles use the corresponding vehicle bolt pattern and wheel studs.
Suspension brackets are installed at the original mounting locations. Tapered axle bearings and heavy-duty retainers are included. A compatible 31-spline Ford 9-inch third member and brake package are required and sold separately. Assembly is required before installation; supplied without gear oil.
