Door sag causes extra stress on strikers and their mounting area. With repeated slamming, the area around the door striker can eventually warp or crack, but these plates can be bolted in place as reinforcement or as a patch by welding into place. The thick steel plates are precision stamped to the appropriate size and shape to fit snug and are then EDP-coated black for corrosion resistance.
