Weiand® Action +Plus aluminum pump uses a six-blade impeller and 5/8-inch pilot.
This Weiand® Action +Plus long-style Chevrolet Small Block water pump uses a lightweight permanent-mold aluminum housing with the distinctive Twisted Snout design. A six-blade stamped-steel anti-cavitation impeller, 5/8-inch pilot and dual-drilled 1/2-inch-thick pulley hub support stable coolant flow and common pulley patterns. Weiand® specifies a bearing/seal package with twice the load capacity of stock components, zinc-plated back cover/hardware, one 1/2-14 NPT accessory port and 100% leak testing. The aluminum pump is approximately 30-50% lighter than a comparable cast-iron unit.
