Cast-iron reproduction water outlet is for 3.8L/231 V6 Canadian-emissions applications.
This cast-iron water outlet/thermostat housing is a reproduction of the original unit for 1980-84 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and El Camino and 1980-83 Malibu models equipped with the 3.8L/231 V6 and Canadian-emissions calibration. The Canada-emissions qualifier is part of the fitment and distinguishes this housing from other 3.8L outlets. A new gasket is supplied for installation at the intake-manifold thermostat opening.
