1979 G-Body V8 Temperature Sending Unit (With Gauges)
Original-style coolant-temperature sender matches the specified factory gauge/indicator configuration.
This coolant-temperature sending unit is configured for 1979 Malibu, Monte Carlo & El Camino V8 with factory gauges. The sender threads into the engine cooling passage and provides the electrical signal used by the vehicle temperature-indication circuit. The with factory gauges distinction is important because the sender calibration and circuit function differ between gauge-equipped and non-gauge applications.
