This engine coolant temperature sending unit provides the resistance signal used by the original Cadillac dashboard temperature gauge. The sender has a 1/2-14 NPTF thread and original-style electrical connection. It is designed for 1956–65 Cadillac models equipped with an analog temperature gauge, not a warning-light circuit.
