Copper cooling tubes on close 3/8-inch centers increase heat-transfer surface.
This copper-and-brass radiator uses 1/2-inch tubes on 3/8-inch centers to add cooling surface within the original radiator space. The core measures 17 × 26-1/4 inches (height × width). This version is intended for 389/400/421/428 V8 engines. Configuration details include driver-side filler, 2-3/4-inch driver and 3-1/2-inch passenger mounts.
