ACDelco® radiator cap seals and maintains the specified 15 PSI cooling-system pressure.
This ACDelco® radiator cap is designed to seal the radiator/filler neck and maintain the specified 15 PSI cooling-system pressure for 1960-72 GM applications using ACDelco RC26. A properly functioning pressure cap raises the coolant boiling point and allows the cooling system to operate at its intended pressure. Replace a cap with a damaged seal, weak spring or improper pressure rating.
