This 1971–72 Cutlass fan shroud is an exact reproduction of the original GM fan shroud, injection molded in durable ABS plastic with the correct original dimensions, fan opening, reinforcing ribs, braces and overall factory configuration. The injection-molded design provides the properly formed edges and molded details of the original GM shroud, while the reinforced ribs and braces provide the rigidity required for proper installation and operation. Original-equipment dimensions ensure the correct relationship between the radiator, shroud and engine-driven cooling fan. The fan shroud is an important part of the factory cooling system. By properly surrounding the engine-driven fan, it helps concentrate airflow through the radiator core, particularly during low-speed and stop-and-go operation. An excellent replacement for an original shroud that is cracked, damaged, brittle or missing, while maintaining the correct original GM fit and appearance.
