This fan shroud is an exact reproduction of the original GM factory two-piece shroud used on 1971–75 Chevelle and El Camino models equipped with a small-block engine. Unlike the one-piece fan shrouds used on many other GM applications, this reproduction features the correct two-piece construction used by General Motors for this application. Both sections are injection molded in plastic to reproduce the original GM dimensions, contours, fan opening and mounting configuration. The two-piece configuration provides the correct factory fit and appearance while allowing the upper and lower sections to be installed in the same manner as the original GM assembly.
