1982-88 Monte Carlo & 1982-87 El Camino "Gen 5 Magnum MAX" Complete A/C System (Factory A/C) by Vintage Air®
A larger blower distinguishes the Magnum MAX package, with electronic temperature and airflow controls.
This Vintage Air® "Gen 5 Magnum MAX" complete system replaces the original factory-A/C underdash equipment with an electronic heater/evaporator assembly, blower, mounting brackets, ducting, wiring, a new electronic control panel and installation hardware. A stamped-steel firewall cover closes the original opening. The original glove box must be modified as shown in the installation instructions. The larger Magnum MAX blower requires modification of the dash mounting bracket and firewall, and relocation of the original engine-control computer. The complete system also includes the compressor and bracket, condenser, receiver-drier, refrigerant hose and fittings.
Applications: 1982-88 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and 1982-87 El Camino with factory A/C. Belts, any additional engine pulleys, heater hose and R134a refrigerant are supplied separately.
