GM A/C Thermostatic Cycle Switch
Reproduction thermostatic cycle switch controls A/C compressor cycling from evaporator temperature.
This reproduction thermostatic cycle switch is used in the A/C control system to cycle compressor operation in response to evaporator temperature. It mounts at the original temperature-sensing location near the evaporator/accumulator circuit and connects to the factory electrical control wiring. Correct compressor cycling helps regulate evaporator temperature and reduces the risk of evaporator freeze-up.
