1962-65 GM STV Update Kit by Old Air Products®
Internal STV update adds cycling-clutch control while retaining the original valve exterior.
This Old Air Products® STV Update Kit converts the original suction throttling valve to a cycling-clutch control system. The update installs inside the original valve so the underhood appearance is retained while eliminating the original piston/diaphragm control function. The manufacturer states that the update is compatible with automotive refrigerants and includes the internal parts, gasket and sealant needed for the conversion.
