1968–69 Chevelle & El Camino Modified A/C Hose Kit by Vintage Air®
Reduced-barrier hoses sized for custom routing and final crimping.
Route the A/C plumbing around a modified engine compartment with this Vintage Air® SureFit reduced-barrier hose kit. Designed for the 1968–69 Chevelle/El Camino SureFit installation, the hoses use reduced-barrier construction for R134a service. The #6 drier-to-evaporator hose is assembled, while the #8 compressor-to-condenser and #10 evaporator-to-compressor hoses are supplied for final cutting and crimping to suit the altered routing. Separate #8 and #10 service-port fittings complete those connections. Professional A/C hose crimping is required after the hoses are fitted. Follow the vehicle-specific SureFit instructions for routing, sealing and securing the hoses. Mounting supplies are included as specified for the kit.
