Bring electronic cooling, heating and defrost control to your 1982–87 Buick Regal with factory A/C. The Gen 5 SureFit system combines a quiet, high-performance Magnum MAX blower with separate high-density aluminum A/C and heater coils. Microprocessor controls replace cables and vacuum connections, providing variable blower speed and blended dash, floor and defrost airflow. Sealed blend doors provide quick temperature changes, while rubber well-nut mounts reduce vibration transfer. An OEM-style block expansion valve, molded case, removable coil-service covers, powder-coated steel brackets and built-in diagnostics support dependable operation and service. The kit includes a bolt-in LED-backlit control panel, duct hose, wiring, stamped-steel firewall cover, steel firewall water drip tray, mounting hardware and installation instructions. The compressor, condenser, receiver-drier and underhood refrigerant hose package are purchased separately. Glove-box modification reduces storage space. The Magnum MAX installation also requires relocation of the factory engine-control module. For a driver-side compressor, use the turbo condenser package; a passenger-side compressor uses the non-turbo package. The standard hose set fits only 1986–87 Grand National/T-Type; other Regal trims use the modified hose kit.
