Big-Block Chevrolet Front Runner® Accessory Drive, with Power Steering (Pump Excluded) by Vintage Air®

Serpentine accessory drive with A/C compressor and alternator; power-steering pump excluded.

This Vintage Air® Front Runner® system packages the A/C compressor, alternator and water pump in a compact serpentine drive for Big-Block Chevrolet engines. Coordinated brackets and pulleys simplify accessory placement where engine-bay space is limited. The kit includes a 170-amp, single-wire alternator with an internal fan, a 7B10 A/C compressor with O-ring adapters, high-performance water pump, serpentine belt and OEM-style tensioner. Mounting brackets, water-pump pulley, compressor-clutch and tensioner covers, ARP stainless hardware and installation instructions complete the system. The power-steering bracket and pulley are included; supply a compatible pump separately. A stainless water-pump bypass nipple and crankshaft pulley are included. Black uses anodized brackets and covers, hardcoat pulleys and natural accessories. Bright pairs machined brackets with polished accessories and chrome pulleys. Chrome/Black combines chrome accessories with black brackets, pulleys and covers; Chrome/Bright combines chrome accessories and covers with machined brackets and chrome pulleys. Verify engine and chassis clearance before installation.

Notes

This Front Runner™ drive system is designed for OEM timing covers only. The system will not work with aftermarket timing covers.
On Chevrolet ZZ4 and other crate engines, the composite timing cover may require modification or replacement with a steel timing cover (GM Part # 10243967 or equivalent) to accommodate the standard short water pump included with this kit.
This kit is not compatible with any LT1 engine.
