1974-78 Chevrolet Chevelle/El Camino/Monte Carlo A/C Binary Pressure Switch
Reproduction binary pressure switch provides high/low A/C compressor protection at the VIR assembly.
This reproduction A/C binary pressure switch mounts at the VIR (Valve In Receiver) system used on 1974-78 Chevrolet Chevelle, El Camino and Monte Carlo applications. The switch monitors refrigerant pressure and opens the compressor-control circuit when pressure moves outside its operating range, helping protect the compressor during loss-of-charge or excessive-pressure conditions. It uses the electrical-terminal arrangement required by the original circuit.
