This RESTOPARTS® fan shroud is a precise reproduction of the original GM fan shroud used on 1969–70 Chevelle and El Camino models equipped with a small-block engine and the applicable standard cooling radiator.
Molded in durable ABS plastic, the shroud reproduces the original GM configuration, fan opening, reinforcing ribs and mounting arrangement for proper installation with the original-style radiator and cooling system. The molded body and reinforcing ribs provide the rigidity necessary to properly support the shroud while maintaining the original factory appearance.
The fan shroud is an important part of the engine cooling system. Properly positioned around the engine-driven fan, it helps concentrate airflow through the radiator core rather than allowing the fan to pull air from around the radiator.
Designed as a direct replacement for an original shroud that is missing, cracked, damaged or deteriorated.
