This comprehensive RESTOPARTS® rear sway bar kit combines our 1-inch solid-steel rear sway bar with the components necessary to properly prepare and reinforce standard lower trailing arms for a factory-style rear sway bar installation. The heavy-duty 1-inch solid-steel sway bar is precisely formed to the original GM-style geometry, including the correct contours, differential clearance and mounting locations. It is finished in a durable gloss-black powder coat for corrosion resistance and a clean factory-style appearance. Kit comes complete with the boxed lower trailing-arm inserts. These allow standard open-channel lower trailing arms to be converted to the reinforced boxed configuration used with rear sway bar applications, providing the proper mounting structure for the bar. The kit also includes four correctly sized sway bar mounting shims, completing the hardware configuration between the sway bar and lower trailing arms. Together, these components make RP01723 an excellent choice for adding a factory-style rear sway bar to cars that were not originally equipped with one.
