1973-88 GM Front OESpectrum® Gas Shock by Monroe®
Nitrogen gas charge, full-displaced valving and PTFE-banded piston provide controlled front damping.
Monroe® OESpectrum® 5840 uses application-specific valving and a nitrogen gas charge for consistent damping while filtering impact-related noise, vibration and harshness. A PTFE-banded piston supports sealing and control, and the pressure-tube/piston-rod design is built for durability. Exact data confirms a T-bar lower mount, stem upper mount and included mounting hardware.
