Genuine GM front shock controls spring rebound to limit bouncing after bumps.
This Genuine GM® front shock absorber is an original-equipment service component that controls the rate of front suspension movement. It helps reduce continued bouncing after road bumps and maintains consistent tire contact for predictable steering and ride comfort. Applications include 2004–07 Cadillac XLR and 2005–07 Chevrolet Corvette equipped with the corresponding factory front suspension. The lower mount uses an eyelet-style bushing and sleeve. One shock is supplied; left and right front positions require separate units.
