Holds the rear coil springs onto rear end mounting plates

This retainer is exactly what GM technicians used to keep the rear coil springs in place from the factory. A thick steel plate is stamped to fit into the lower spring coil and bolt to the bracket on the rear end housing. Retainers are sold per each—two required per vehicle.
